Cookies and browser storage
Last updated 14 October 2026
Draft for legal review. Parts marked “To confirm” are decisions for The Haven Group before launch.
This page explains the one cookie this website sets and the few things it keeps in your browser.
The cookie we set
- Sign-in cookie: set only when you sign in, so you stay signed in from page to page. It holds a random code (never your password), cannot be read by scripts on the page and lasts 12 hours, or 30 days if you choose “Keep me signed in”. It is strictly necessary for your account, so it does not need your consent.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we count visits without cookies (see the Privacy notice).
If analytics is turned on
If we turn on Google Analytics, it sets its own cookies to count visits. To confirm: whether analytics will be used. If it is, a consent choice will be added before any analytics cookie is set.
What we keep in your browser
These stay on your device, are never sent to us and can be cleared at any time from your browser’s settings:
- your language and currency;
- the listings you viewed recently, for “Recently viewed” and “Picked for you” (clear them with “Clear my history”);
- searches you typed into the search box recently;
- forms you have started but not sent, so you do not lose them;
- in the demonstration version of the website only, demo accounts and their data.
Third-party services
Maps, videos and photographs from other services (for example Google Maps, Matterport tours, Unsplash and Pexels photographs) are loaded from those services when you open a page that shows them, and they may set their own cookies under their own policies.
