These terms apply to everyone who uses this website. By using it you agree to them. If you open an account or post a listing, the parts about accounts and listings apply to you as well.

About the information on this website

We take care that listings, prices, guides and figures are accurate, but they are provided for information and may change. A listing is not an offer that can be accepted; every sale or letting is subject to contract, to the usual searches and to the owner’s confirmation. Guides, calculators, magazine stories and estimates are general guidance, not legal, financial or valuation advice: speak to an advocate, a registered valuer or your bank before you commit. To confirm: whether sample content is fully replaced at launch.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Team accounts are for The Haven Group’s staff only.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.

Posting a listing

• You must be the owner of the property or authorised by the owner to market it, and you confirm this when you post.
• Your listing must be true and complete: no misleading photographs, prices or descriptions, and nothing you do not have the right to publish.
• Every listing is reviewed by our team before it appears, and may be edited, paused or removed if it breaks these terms, if the property is no longer available, or if a report about it is upheld.
• Listing plans paid with M-Pesa run for the period shown when you pay. To confirm: the refund policy, for example no refund once a listing is published, and a full refund if our team declines a listing.

Things you must not do

• post anything unlawful, discriminatory, misleading or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• copy listings, photographs or text from this website to use elsewhere without permission;
• try to get into accounts or parts of the website that are not yours, or disrupt the website;
• use automated tools to collect information from the website.

Viewings, offers and fees

Viewing requests are confirmed by our team. Agency fees and commissions are agreed in writing with the parties to each transaction and are not set by these terms. To confirm: whether to state the standard sale and letting fees here.

Our content

The website, its design, text, guides, magazine and our own photographs belong to The Haven Group or are used with permission. Stock photographs belong to their photographers and are used under their licences.

Liability

We are not responsible for loss caused by relying on information on this website without making your own checks, by the acts of property owners, buyers or tenants, or by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law. To confirm: wording with our advocate.

Changes and the law that applies

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute.
